Indigo Children, Children of Light, Gifted Children etc., etc., are all terms for a special group of humans who are born with a greater awareness of spiritual truths and insights than the adults who bore them. Many of these children are born with paranormal abilities and have gifts unexplainably far beyond their years. All to often the adults around these blessings are not prepared to deal with the ramifications of such individuals. Sometimes these little angels withdraw into their own spiritual, psychological, and emotional playground while the adults around them throw up their hands in despair not knowing how to control or manipulate them into conformity of other peoples ideas of reality and what is right and wrong. Control and manipulation are weak tools of the flesh and can have negative effects on the situations involved.
I was one of these special children with gifts that the world around me would not recognize or deal with. I knew things at a very early age intuitively that I now read about as being great truths in many modern books. Gifted as I may claim, keep in mind that I know I am nothing outside of the Spirit of God which allowed me to remember these insights since my first memory. Knowing them at birth or learning of them later does not make any of us better, just different.
There are many others out there with similar stories. Knowing what is really going on and realizing that these kids are not sick can empower the families involved to greater harmony and blessings. Learn how to work with and learn from these little angels while striving to not steal away their dignity and purpose in our lives as gifts to us all.
