While not matching the expertise of the Iron Chef, I do have my own specialties acquired from a lifetime of kitchen experiences. Growing up an only child meant naturally I was hanging out in the kitchen nightly to pester, harass, or just talk to my mom. Those years of watching her cook laid the groundwork for my culinary future. When still a young lad of 20 years old I landed my first kitchen job outside of fast food as a short order cook for a JoJo’s restaurant in Houston. A year of that gave me the experience to then gain employment with Jeramia’s Steak and Seafood, a classy establishment which served high priced and marvelously prepared meals. Prior to leaving their employment almost 2 years later I was the number 2 chef, having learned how to prepare a wonderful assortment of meat and seafood dishes. Since then I have learned how to cook almost anything, most of the time from scratch with no recipe needed. The assortments of things that can be created once you learn the basic flavors of spices and seasonings and how they blend with the flavors in foods is practically infinite. Lets cook together and then of course spoil ourselves eating our savory delicacies.
